Day Two

My life is an open book as all my friends know. If it happened, you know it. Well, maybe you don't know everything.....some known facts about me....

1. I hate to go to a restaurant and stay for over 1/2 hour. I like to go in, be seated, order immediately and go home; (favorite restaurants are Central Market and Whole Foods) That being said, my favorite meal was an 8 hour one at Carrabbas with KLB which started at 1 p.m. and went on and on until the general manager said he would pay us to leave....)

2. I love to go to the show (ok, for all my young friends it is the "movies"). I could (and do) see two or three shows in a row. And yes, if I don't like the show, I get my money back (unless I have snuck into the show illegally);

3. I can put my head on the pillow and I am sleeping; I really do not understand insomnia. But my friend Cristina is making it more real for me.

4. I hate to talk on the telephone at night. It will ring, but I'm not answering. You can call me at 5 a.m., but please not after 7 p.m.; (but if you need me, call)

5. I have a birthday book that I have kept since 1982; It has every phone call I get on my birthday and every present I get; Yes, the calls are in order. The #1 call for a lot of years is a tie between my friend MQC from Tulsa and KLB from Lafayette, New Orleans and Mississippi.
It gets earlier and earlier as they jockey for being #1. When I answer the call, they say "Am I the first?" Happy Birthday does not occur to them any more.

6. My friend Margaret and I have exchanged the same card since the 80's. Her birthday is August 21st and mine is December 17th and we have scratched out each others message and added a new one. She has the card and didn't send it last year. I need it back for her birthday this year....

7. I hate The Today Show and Jay Leno. Is it NBC or what? But I love Friday Night Lights and that comes on NBC. Go figure.

8. I have 19 godchildren; I am banking on one of them making it big and taking care of their godmother in her old age; (so far, its not looking good)

9. Yes, I think I am going to win the lottery. My friend Jill and I have talked over and over again how we will handle the wealth; I have my lawyer in place. I am ready and I can handle it.
If Deborah or Jackie win, I am ready to handle theirs also. I want to give money away and travel to Paris;

10. My favorite radio is Sirius. I listen to Channel 2 "Blend" which I love. I love shows on TV that give awards, honor people (Kennedy Center Honors) and I like to watch the exercise channel (not do it, just watch it).
