Two People Writing this Blog

I was thinking today....I am really two people in one.  The nice, sweet Corky (strike that, no one ever thinks I am sweet) and the devil Corky that comes out more than I want her to.

Take for example:

I am staying with my sister, Deborah,  helping her recoup from minor surgery.  She cannot pick up anything more than 5 lbs.  So that means the bichons, who (by the way, we were told that they would never weight more than 8 lbs.) are hitting the scale at 20 lbs each.

They have to be lifted, fluffed, walked, fed, watered, babied, (well you get the picture).

Now last week I was on vacation and the really sweet sister, Rhett, stayed with Deborah and the dogs, 24/7.  She was a wonderful nurse, dogwalker, etc.

I returned on Monday to take over for Rhett.  Here's where Devil Corky arrived.  I was tired.  I wanted to be Nice Corky, but Devil Corky had an attitude that came out.  You see, Deborah and I don't eat the same foods, we don't watch the same TV  and I don't like to talk at night.  (Good thing I am single, right?)  The first night Deborah asked me  to get the dogs water and I did (only it was for the water in the bathroom, not the kitchen) and then she asked me to pick up the dog's food...And then put the dogs in the bed...(with me)...Well, I tried to put a smile on, but devil Corky was thinking how much longer until this night ends.  And then I woke up at 5 am to exercise which means I have to drag those dogs out of bed, walk them, give them water, treats, medicine, pumpkin (don't ask) and all the time, they just want to be in bed.  Then I have to come back after exercise to re-walk them to avoid any accidents and they don't want to rewalk and Devil Corky is frustrated and I think she is short with Deborah.

Deborah decided last night that I should go home after the 6 oclock walk (I think she had had it with Devil Corky) and come back in time for the 10 pm walk and put them in bed.  Then walk them in the am and then leave.  Bless her.  It worked out great.  Only today I am at home sick with a cold....I am trying to talk Devil Corky into staying home tonight....(but she always tags along). I hope Devil Corky feels bad with the cold and stays deep inside tonight (Know What I Mean?)
